SHERMAN
VERANDA
SHERMAN.VERANDA.2006
photograph circa. 1911
showing historic veranda
due to neglect and disrepair, it was demolished in the 1990's

To bring back the historic character of this beautifully restored Laurelhurst home, a broad veranda was designed in the context of the neighborhood.

SHERMAN.VERANDA.2006

The sumptuous wood construction is carefully crafted using a blend of Pacific Northwest and Japanese Shinto Timber-Framing techniques.
